Refund Policy

MCSL, at its discretion, following the guidelines set forth below, may provide a partial refund of registration fees. Please see the guidelines below, all refund requests must be made in writing and addressed to the Registrar. In the event the 2024 Fall season is cancelled due to Covid 19 barriers and guidelines, a pro-rated refund will be issued. 

March 18 -June 3, 2024 Families may request a refund of their league registration fees paid. If approved, the refund amount shall equal the league registration fee paid, less any late fee paid and less an administration and processing fee of $50.00.

June 4 - July 15, 2024 Families may request a refund of their league registration fees paid. If approved, the refund amount shall equal 50% of the league registration fee paid, less any late fee paid and less an administration and processing fee of $50.00.

July 16, 2024 – Season End On or after July 16, 2024, no refunds will be approved or issued for any portion of the league registration fee under any circumstance. Additionally, fees cannot be transferred to any other person for this season, or next.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, and up until September 15, 2024, MCSL may issue a partial refund for season ending injuries. Any such refund amount shall be less any late fee paid and less an administration and processing fee of $50.00. A physician’s note will be required for any such refund.

***Families considering North Marin United (NMU) competitive soccer*** Register with MCSL during open registration to reserve a spot with MCSL. If your player decides to play NMU, a full refund will be issued if written notice of such intent is received by the Registrar on or before July 15, 2024. Any refund request received after July 15, 2024, related to NMU registration will follow MCSL's Refund Policy guidelines set forth above. This refund does not apply to any competitive soccer league other than NMU.

Refunds for reasons of friend requests or carpooling accommodations will not be made at any time.
